Terms of service
Draft — not yet in effect. PiggyButler is not accepting new accounts yet. These terms describe how the service will work and will be reviewed before anyone is asked to agree to them.
1. The service
PiggyButler is software for answering customer support: a shared inbox for email and contact-form messages, a public help centre, and tools to help your team reply. We provide the software; you decide how you use it with your own customers.
2. Your account
You need a verified email address to create an account. Keep your sign-in to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account and under the accounts of people you invite. An account can hold more than one business.
3. Trial, plans and payment
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No card is needed. After the trial, the service continues on a paid plan: Solo (up to 2 people) or Team (unlimited people). Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI answers and emails, set out when you choose a plan.
If you send more email than your plan includes, we add blocks of extra emails to your bill automatically rather than stop your replies. Prices and allowances may change; we will tell you before a change affects you.
If a trial ends without a plan, or a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, your account becomes read-only for replies, sending, AI drafts and invitations. Your help centre and incoming email keep working and nothing is deleted. Choosing a plan restores everything.
4. Your content and your customers
You own what you and your customers put into PiggyButler — messages, articles, contact details. You are responsible for having the right to collect and store your customers’ information and for telling them how you use it. We use your content only to run the service for you, and we keep each business’s information separate from every other’s.
5. AI features
AI drafts and the help-centre assistant are suggestions based on the articles you publish. They can be wrong. A person on your team decides what is sent to a customer, and the assistant is off unless you turn it on.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use PiggyButler to send spam or unsolicited bulk email, to impersonate someone else, to break the law, or to interfere with the service or other customers. We may suspend sending, or an account, to stop abuse or protect other customers.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features over time.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using PiggyButler at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Ask us and we will tell you how to get a copy of your information before it is removed.
9. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so before the change takes effect and ask you to accept the new version.
